Biography
Massimo Caccia is the Director of the Institute of Intelligent Systems for Automation of the Italian National Research Council from October 2013. He received the degree in Electronic Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of Genova in 1991, and joined the the Institute for Ship Automation of CNR in 1993. He was responsible of the research group “Autonomous robotic systems and control” from 2005 and of the Support Operating Unit of Genova of CNR- ISSIA from 2008.
