Biography

Dr. Tim Mundon has more than 15 years experience working on the development of wave energy. His primary role is as the Chief Engineer with Oscilla Power where he is responsible for the design and development of the Triton wave energy converter. He has a faculty position with the Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Washington. Dr Mundon received his Ph.D. in wave energy from the University of Edinburgh in 2005 and has since gained experience working on the design and development across a number of different renewable and conventional offshore energy projects. He is currently involved with a number of academic research projects related to the development and optimization of wave energy converters.
