Sabir Ouchen

Dr Sabir Ouchen is a researcher in the Laboratory for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives at Aalen University of Applied Sciences, Germany under supervision of Prof. Heinrich Steinhart and a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He obtained his PhD in control of energy systems from the University of Biskra, Algeria. His power electronics field experience includes both renewable energies and electrical energy quality projects in Algeria, France, and Germany. Since 2013, he has been involved in projects in active power filtering and integration of renewable energies under the direction of Prof. Achour Betka of the University of Biskra, Algeria and in cooperation with Prof. Jean Paul Gaubert from the University of Poitiers, France. Since 2018, he has been collaborating with Prof. Frede Blaabjerg and Prof. Mouhamed Benbouzid, from Aalborg University, Denmark and Brest University, France respectively.
