Biography
Elena Paifelman is a Researcher at CNR-INM in Rome. She holds a PhD developed jointly between Sapienza University of Rome and CNR-INM, and her research interests include marine robotics, optimal control, fluid–structure interaction, hydroelasticity and biomimetic propulsion. Her work combines analytical modelling and experimental research for advanced marine systems and bio-inspired technologies. Within EOREA, she represents CNR in the Alliance Secretariat and coordinates the development and implementation of EOREA Collaborative Research and Education Programmes (CREPs), facilitating collaboration among member institutions.
