Biography
Elena Paifelman is a research scientist at CNR-INM in Rome. With a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Sapienza, her work spans fluid-structure interaction, optimal control, and bio-inspired underwater propulsion. Her recent focus is on biomimetic systems that replicate the efficient, silent swimming of marine life.
