Biography
Crystal Winston is a first-year PhD student and Marshall Scholar at Imperial College London. She is a member of the Aerial Robotics Lab, supervised by Prof. Mirko Kovac. Originally from the United States, Crystal completed her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at MIT in 2019 and started her Ph.D. at Imperial College London in October of that same year. Her research is focused on the design and modeling of morphing wings for small, sailing, aerial-aquatic vehicles.
