Biography

Enrico Simetti is Assistant Professor at the University of Genova. His research interests include control of surface and underwater robotic systems, force and motion control of robot manipulators and cooperation within multi-agent systems. He has a strong background in real-time software development and in the development of embedded system software.
He has published around 70 papers in international journals and conferences. He has been involved in several EU projects, including EU FP7 UAN, EU FP7 Co3AUVs and EU H2020 WiMUST on the use of autonomous underwater vehicles and multi robot control, on the EU FP7 TRIDENT and EU H2020 DexROV on underwater manipulation. He is the scientific responsible for the whole ISME for the H2020 ROBUST project on deep sea mining exploration with AUVs. He is also the scientific responsible for the ISME node UNIGE within the EU H2020 EUMarineRobots infrastructure project.
