Smiljko Rudan

Smiljko Rudan is a Full Professor with tenure at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. His research focuses on ship and marine structures, structural safety, collision and grounding analysis, numerical modelling, and the development of small uncrewed surface vessels. He has participated in numerous national and international research projects and leads the FSB activities within the BRIGANTINE project. His recent activities include research and development related to small uncrewed marine platforms and their experimental validation. He is Head of the ORCHID – Regional Centre for Laboratory Research in Hydromechanics at FSB and a member of the International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress (ISSC).
