Biography
Antonia Jelena Lučev studied Marine Fisheries at the University of Split, graduating in Marine Ecology and Conservation. After graduation, she worked for two years at the Šibenik-Knin County Development Agency on EU-funded projects. In 2024, she joined the Ruđer Bošković Institute’s Martinska Marine Station as an expert associate. She is currently a PhD student in Oceanology at the University of Zagreb. Her research focuses on marine pollution, particularly heavy metals in fish and their potential effects on human health.
