Biography
Neven Cukrov is marine and environmental geochemist with long-term experience in estuarine, coastal, karst and subterranean coastal water systems, with emphasis on trace metals, radionuclides, microplastics, blue carbon and recent sediments, water-quality assessment and environmental monitoring. Current member of the Group of Experts of the Regular Process under the United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea. Scientific background is particularly relevant to regional ocean assessments, land-sea interactions, coastal pollution, estuarine processes, submarine groundwater discharge and blue carbon-related sampling.
